Prototypes

Our high quality standards for documentation and production already apply to prototypes. It may not be possible to use all steps of a series production run for prototypes because, for example, a series test adapter or soldering stencil could not yet be created. With the low prototype quantities, we benefit from the synergies between development and production with close support for development in the production of new devices to avoid errors. These assemblies are then also subjected to final testing during development so that our customer receives a fully functional prototype. Experience gained from the first samples is incorporated directly into further development and production documents so that we can realise a high quality standard in the series product in the long term.

Our aim during development is to provide high-quality prototypes at short notice and to be able to carry out initial tests at the customer’s premises so that the further development phase can be accelerated. For this purpose, we use rapid prototyping from our suppliers, 3D printing or our own tool/test equipment construction in consultation with our customers.
